Daffodil Place

Daffodil Place

Working with Trampoline Branding, we were tasked with transforming the amazing creative supplied by Trampoline into a Drupal-based content managed website for the Canadian Cancer Society.

From the Daffodil Place website:

Daffodil Place is a building that will be renewed and expanded on. Daffodil Place is a research and prevention effort continually gaining steam. Daffodil Place is a movement that has already begun. But there’s so much more we need to do.

We had a lot of fun building this site - the large daffodil prominent on the home page is an interactive main menu, and the blog feed on the home page includes thumbnail images and video thumbnails, both auto-sized with rounded corners added, by the website, eliminating the need for the client to have perfect "web ready' graphics.

The "Province Wide Movement" map shown on the home page leads to an interactive map, where published stories are featured as thumbnails laid over a Nova Scotia map.  Hovering over a thumbnail shows a large image, with teaser text of the story.  Of course, clicking on the image brings the visitor to the full story.

The site also features random testimonials throughout, from patients, staff and others who have had experiences with Daffodil Place.

Why not visit the site, have a look around, and maybe even consider a donation to this very worthwhile cause?
